Tru Cabinetry, a rapidly growing manufacturer located south of Oxford, Alabama, is looking for a great person to join our team as a CNC Router Operator.  The CNC Router Operator will produce machined parts by programming, setting up and operating a Computer Numerical Control (CNC) machine.  The operator will also maintain safety and quality standards, keep records and maintain equipment and supplies.  If you want to be a part of an organization where Teamwork, Success and Stability are part of our core beliefs, then Tru Cabinetry is the right fit for you.  Medical, Dental, Vision, Life Insurance, STD/LTD, Paid Holidays and Paid Vacation all available the 1st of the month after 15 days of employment!

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Plans machining by studying work orders, engineering plans, materials, specifications, surfaces and machining parameters
  • Plans stock inventory by checking amount available, anticipating needed stock, placing and expediting orders for stock and verifying receipt of stock
  • Programs router by entering instructions, setting tool registers, offsets compensation and conditional switches and calculating requirements including basic math, geometry and trigonometry
  • Load feed mechanism by lifting large (8' - 12') sheet stock into position
  • Maintains specifications by observing the drilling, grooving and cutting operations
  • Taking measurements by detecting malfunctions, troubleshooting the process, adjusting and reprogramming controls, replacing worn tools and adhering to quality assurance processes and procedures
  • Maintains safe operations by adhering to safety procedures and regulations
  • Maintains equipment by completing preventive maintenance requirement, following company instructions troubleshooting malfunctions and calling for repairs when needed
  • Documents actions by completing production and quality logs
